The issue of wedding gifts has been raised and after a little bit of thought Patrick and I have come to this conclusion regarding the matter. We realize that our wedding is right in the middle of your holiday season, it could even be prolonging a long awaited family getaway to a warm, sunny beach somewhere. We are grateful to have you, our friends and family there, to share it with us. In our opinion your time is gift enough.
However, if you would like to do something beyond this, the only idea we could come up with was a mountain bike fund. This is something that we have been saving for (slowly-due in part to Patrick's reluctance to risk life and limb in the spirit of quality time).
We are looking forward to seeing you and catching up on the 28th!
