Directions

Welcome to our wedding blog where we will attempt to parlay any extra information that we couldn't squeeze into the invite. I will turn over the typing to the native New Zealander to help give directions to Out in the Styx.

Alright just been given the heads up to make a contribution on the old blog site. We have just got back from a bike ride which normally knackers me so am having couple beers to aid the recovery process. Hopefully this will make sense!

Ok so am going to try and set out a few directions on how to get to "Out in the Styx" at 2117 Arapuni Road Pukeatua. All I have basically done is copied Google"s map which may not surprise you.


For those of you coming from Auckland have given you a simplified route from google little bit longer but less chance of getting lost I hope!!

1. Head south on highway 1 to Hamilton
2. Hit Hamilton then go south on 3 to Te Awamutu
3. When get to Te Awamutu keep going soth signs should say to Otorohanga
4. Going to pass the TA golf course on your left
5. Then you will come up the hill into kihikihi
6. TURN left ONTO WHITMORE STREET
7. Continue onto Arapuni Rd
Out on the Styxs will be on the left 11.1 km

For Those of you coming from Rotorua and Papamoa looks like you just head to Putaruru and then once you hit town...

1. Head southwest on Main St toward Buckland St 0.1 km
2. Turn left at Princes St 0.2 km
3. Take the 2nd right onto Arapuni St 5.9 km
4. Slight left at Pearsons Rd 3.9 km
5. Slight right at Old Taupo Rd 1.0 km
6. Turn left at Arapuni Rd 7.5 km
7. Turn right to stay on Arapuni Rd
Out in the Styx will be on the right

Hopefully everyone else has enough local knowledge to figure out from the above directions how to find there way.
